Fort Deli is currently responsible for Orkla Suomi’s foodservice business and serves the HoReCa sector, wholesalers and the food industry.
We understand the reality of the kitchen. We know that a good kitchen needs products that can withstand the pressure of service day in and day out.
We know what working in a professional kitchen is like: busy, hot and under constant pressure. Precise work over a hot stove, every day.
Fort Deli’s role for the kitchen is a bit like the roadie for the band.
We’re not in the spotlight, but we make sure that everything works in the background, both in the backroom and on stage – in the kitchen and in the hall.
We make sure the kitchen has everything it needs. The dish leaves on time, the diner eats the whole dish and comes back again. That’s when the chef knows they succeeded.
Our goal is to make everything as easy as possible for the customer. Everything has been thought out and all of our concepts are easily adaptable and can be implemented in different locations.
Brands we represent
1996
- Food importer SeaGood Oy was founded in 1996.
- The company’s first products include finger food and Tex Mex products as well as frozen fish and shellfish.
1999
- The auxiliary business name Fort Deli is registered for SeaGood Oy, which becomes the company’s name.
2001
- Turnover doubles to approximately 2.5 million euros
- Along the way, seafood products have taken a back seat, but the tradition continues in the company’s official name.
2019
- The company’s new premises, which include a top-quality test kitchen, are being completed in Tikkurila, Vantaa.
- Fort Deli begins exporting abroad.
- The company’s turnover exceeds 10 million euros, most of which comes from the HoReCa and Foodservice trade.
2021
- We serve our customers as part of Orkla Suomi Finland Oy Ab. Through the merger, we gained several brands to represent and more professionals to our team!
2026
- Fort Deli celebrates its 30th anniversary with a brand revamp and new logo
